Newfashioned Relics creates personalized wooden keepsakes for the people, stories, and milestones that deserve more than a passing moment.

A name. A wedding date. A handwritten recipe. A message from a child. A family memory. The things that matter most are often small enough to fit in our hands, but meaningful enough to stay with us for a lifetime.

We make custom engraved pieces that give those moments a place to live.

Every keepsake is made to order and personalized with care. From wedding gifts and anniversary boxes to family mementos, memorial pieces, and meaningful gifts for parents and grandparents, each item is designed to feel personal from the first time it is opened, and worth keeping long after the occasion has passed.

Newfashioned Relics is built on the belief that a meaningful gift should feel considered.

It should feel solid in your hands. It should carry the right words. It should be something a person is proud to place on a shelf, desk, bedside table, or coffee table, not something that disappears into a drawer once the celebration is over.

Our work brings together clean, modern design and the lasting feeling of an heirloom. We call them modern relics: personal objects made for today, with the staying power to become part of tomorrow’s story.

The natural grain, color, and character of wood make every piece a little different. That is part of the point. Each keepsake is made for one person, one family, one relationship, or one moment and no two stories are exactly alike.

The maker behind the work

Newfashioned Relics is a Black veteran-owned small business built by a maker who believes in the value of detail, discipline, and work that lasts.

Military service taught me to respect preparation, precision, and the responsibility of getting the details right. Those values follow every order from the first design decision to the final engraving.

This work is also personal. I believe the things we choose to give each other say something. A thoughtful gift can celebrate a beginning, honor a memory, thank someone who showed up, or simply remind a person that they are loved.

That is why every piece is made with the goal of creating something you will feel good giving, and they will feel proud keeping.
